Beachfront Earns TAG’s Recertification Against Fraud for Third Consecutive Year

On behalf of our entire team, I am very excited to share that Beachfront has received recertification for the Trustworthy Accountability Group’s (TAG) Certified Against Fraud program for the third year in a row

Beachfront proudly and emphatically shares in TAG’s commitment to prevent fraudulent activity, preserve quality and provide transparency within programmatic exchanges.

The recertification list was shared by TAG in early March, with Todd Miller, Director of Compliance at TAG, offering his thoughts:

“The remarkable success of TAG’s certification programs rests on the active participation of hundreds of member companies, who have worked with TAG to strengthen and adapt our standards each year while taking the rigorous steps needed to turn those standards into practice across the industry.”

“We are delighted at the increasing ubiquity of TAG’s programs, but even more heartened by the worldwide evidence of the effectiveness of such programs, including a greater than 90% fraud reduction in TAG Certified Channels in every market studied.”

Launched in 2016, the Certified Against Fraud Program was created by TAG to combat fraudulent, invalid traffic in the digital advertising supply chain.

In order for companies to earn this certification, they must demonstrate that their services and operations comply with Certified Against Fraud guidelines, which includes things like:

  • Having a designated TAG Compliance Officer who must attend updated training courses throughout the year.
  • Employing invalid traffic (IVT) detection and removal, along with threat filtering across domains, data center IPs, and apps.
  • Implementing a TAG-approved “follow the money solution”, which includes the SupplyChain object, Sellers.json, and the TAG Payment ID System.
  • Honoring Ads.txt and App-ads.txt files.

Beachfront has successfully met and exceeded these guidelines over the past three years.
